The Irwin 65 68 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is not stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is excellent. There is an excellent water supply range.
Despite its low score, this boat is ranked in the top quarter. It seems difficult to do much better. It is one of the best possible tradeoffs for this request.
